Dee Banks

I have signed up to the Towel Challenge in honour of my incredible Little Stroke Warrior Emma and all others impacted by Stroke

I have signed up to the Towel Challenge to have a bit of fun and to raise awareness and funds to prevent, treat and beat stroke.

In 2020 there will be almost 56,000 new and recurrent strokes, that is one stroke every 9 minutes.

Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and a leading cause of disability. It kills more women than breast cancer and more men than prostate cancer.

Stroke can happen at ANY age, over 500 children each year will have a Stroke. Emma's stroke happened in utero with no warning signs whatsoever.

With your support, the Stroke Foundation can provide stroke researchers with the funding they need to find the next game changer in stroke.
